Week 4

Blackbird singing in the dead of night,
Take these broken wings and learn to fly.
All your life,
You were only waiting for the moment to arise.

Blackbird singing in the dead of night,
Take these sunken eyes and learn to see.
All your life,
You were only waiting for the moment to be free.

Black bird fly, black bird fly
Into the light of the dark black night.

Black bird fly, black bird fly
Into the light of the dark black night.

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly.
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise
You were only waiting for this moment to arise
You were only waiting for this moment to arise

It is too easy for me to forget the main thing with this blog - faith. I get enthusiastic over things like the practical and artistic, and forget that She is the reason for this blog.
I want to add more practical spirituality in my life. Even though I'm very intuitive and have a wonderful relationship with Mother, I like the idea of religion and religiousness.

I believe spirituality is very important in life.

So - Faithbooking

What is Faithbooking?
Scrapbooking on the theme "faith". Creating a scrapbook about your faith and life with God.

Examples of these life moments:
- miracles in our lives
- things in our lives that remind us about God
- times when we were aware of God's influence in our lives
- times when we heard God's voice
- times, events, situations where our faith and God made a difference
- expression of faith, spiritual journey, values
- capturing Life Lessons
- witnessing
- quotes with special meaning to us, quotes with God's voice
- special prayers
- blessings
- anecdotes of God's presence in our lives

I learned about this from Christian women on-line, and one thing that bothers me very much is that ALL of them are talking about faithbooking as something you do to teach YOUR relation with God to your offspring and descendants. And I find that very self-centered.
These people go so far as to interrupt their worship service to snap a photo just to be able to record their going to church for generations to come.
To me that is something very NOT spiritual. On the contrary. What they are saying with that is that recording one's spiritual life is more important than the spiritual life itself! It makes their spiritual life a theater act. Just like with Project Life.
CREATING MEMORIES. STAGING and EDITING LIFE.

Perhaps I should.
